Celebrating one year as an Artist, Kelsey Demmans
This month, we're spotlighting Kelsey Demmans, from Martensville, Saskatchewan (Canada)
March 18, 2020
Kelsey Demmans is a mom to her 3 littles, wife to her handsome husband - they’ve been dating since they were 15 years old - and a full time nurse. Kelsey will also be celebrating her one year anniversary as a Maskcara Artist very soon!
Kelsey’s passion in life is to make other people feel good. She is the first one to sacrifice herself in order to make someone laugh or try to and brighten someone’s day! Kelsey comes from a past of severe bullying about her appearance, and ever since then she’s had this forceful drive to make people feel beautiful and be proud of the way they were made. Every person on this earth was born with amazing features, and if someone needs a little help to remember that, Kelsey is your gal!
Kelsey became an Artist because she has always loved makeup, and one day a video from Kat Fairchild came on her Facebook, and Kat’s bubbly attitude and ability to make Kelsey laugh made her feel happy. Kelsey had just had her last baby and was having some severe medical issues and was at an all-time low, but after she watched Kat, she forgot about all her problems, even if it was only for a moment. Kelsey ordered the Artist kit without even trying the makeup because she thought, “If I can do for people what Kat has done for me, there would be no better feeling than that!”
Kelsey’s son, Carter (6), and two daughters, Perrie (5) and Harper (1), are her pride and joy. They are all such sweet, caring and sensitive beings, and they come by that very honestly. Kelsey also has a golden retriever named Willy and a cat named Frank. Kelsey and her family have lived in a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada for the past 12 years and have loved every minute of it. Kelsey originally grew up all over Canada, as her dad was one of the canine officers with the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), so moving every three years and exploring different parts of the beautiful country of Canada was so much fun for her growing up.
Kelsey wanted so badly to go to Reign last year, but it just so happened to be the day that she got her heart surgery, so she watched clips and updates from fellow Artists from her hospital bed, where she got to see a glimpse of what this year’s Reunion is going to be like - needless to say, she cannot wait for Dulce this year!
Kelsey could not live without Bella Bronzer and Linen Highlight. Her followers all know that when she puts on that brightening highlight, she genuinely gets excited every. Single. Time. So much so that she loses her breath when she applies it. True story!
